About Us
Irish Barista Academy offers 1-day practical barista training courses in Dublin and Galway city centres, designed to equip participants with the necessary skills and knowledge to work as proficient baristas. Attendees will spend the day on the espresso machine, honing their skills under the guidance of our expert trainers. They will perfect their coffee-making abilities, from bean grinding to espresso extraction and milk texturing techniques. Supported by elements of coffee theory, including the journey from farm to cup and efficient workflow practices, this is a well-rounded full-day course for aspiring baristas. As an added bonus, we include FREE Food Safety (HACCP) training, which is a legal requirement for working in the hospitality industry in Ireland. Participants will receive two certificates at the end of the session.
Can’t make it to our academies? No problem – we can come to you with our Mobile Barista Academy (for groups of 12 or more). Unique from any other course offered in Dublin & Galway, we also connect successful participants with our experienced consultants, who can provide immediate barista job opportunities.
